Not much to be said, she instead moves so that she can scout while talking to the girl. Didn't give the girl her back, but she was clearly more interested more in the area than her conversation. Well...sort of. "What do you mean? The dark everywhere? I just got in this area...perhaps you could lend me some knowledge?"
She turned more to face the girl, somewhat. "I hate walking into a bad situation without knowing what I'm in for." She smirked, leaning back on a tree as she looked about.

Kaehlyssa frowned as she watched the girl looking around, she'd seen the action and the caution on others before she'd runaway, before the land had been taken. She licked her lips and tried to figure out what the girl was looking for.
She sighed and continued to wring out her underskirts. "Coimhlion was ruled by King Richard, and Queen Ophelia. It used to be a beautiful city." She swallowed, it felt strange trying to explain to someone what had happened, when really, she didn't know anything more than rumours.
"About a month ago, maybe more now, a man came with many soldiers. He stormed the castle, and bought this darkness over Coimhlion." She felt a pang inside and dropped the part of her skirt she was trying to wring out, realising she had definitely wrung out all she could for that section.
"All I know though, is rumour." She said quietly. "He keeps the royal family locked up in the castle, his men roam the city freely, doing whatever they please, that I have seen. All the Lords and Ladies who tried to oppose his... his take over are either dead or in the dungeons." She wondered what had happened to her family, and she now felt terrible for not being there with them when this had happened, she wouldn't have been much help, but at least they would all have been together.

Crouching in the bushes, hiding well like he had been trained too in the past couple of month was Bastian. He had the crystal ball in his pocket that his Lady had given him, he had just gotten here and was listening to the girls talk, he would have liked to have gotten closer but he shouldn't should he be found that could be dangerous even though he had a cover. He was dress like a village boy and had left his weapons behind apart from a dagger. He believed he looked like a village boy on the run.
He listened to the girl that looked like the one locked up in the tower and frowned at her, did this other one not know who stood before her? He pulled out his dagger gently, making little sounds. He didn't want to be caught out.
