Theodoric nodded and looked at Kaehlyssa "The battle field isn't release..." he told her "Every time I go out there I risk being killed. But I do have an up on you, I understand that. When I'm angry I can kill people without a second thought, but those people I kill haunt my sleep. Is that release?" he asked. Theodoric knew that Kaehlyssa was more trapped then he was, at least he could do things be seen as a bad behaved Prince and get away with it. But for Kaehlyssa, it was a little harder, people weren't so accepting.

Kaehlyssa let her head hang down, her fingers picking at a thread on her cloak. When he said it like that, she felt like she too had him all wrong, just like everyone else in his family. She shook her head. He was right. She hadn't even thought of killing. "I'm sorry." She said quietly. "I shouldn't have said anything." Her voice was now a whisper, clearly ashamed of what she had said, and how she felt.

Theodoric shook his head and smiled gently "You can say anything you want" he told her "Don't go back into your shell Kaehlyssa, I don't mind what you say. I like talking with you freely" he added then looking out over the city and breathing out. She was one of the only people he could talk with.

Kaehlyssa bit her bottom lip and smiled slightly at Theodoric. She nodded a little and let go of a sigh. Both of them had heavy shoulders, that was what bought them together. She'd always talk freely with the Prince, she didn't intend to stop.
Admittedly there were things he didn't know, she was sometimes worried he'd get jealous if she told him the real reason she'd been in the city.

Theodoric laughed under his breath, he gave up on his lecture. He lent back in his seat and looked up as he heard his body-guard’s voice near by. He looked over the edge of the railing and saw him in the street below. Theodoric really did feel sorry for him. He knew it mustn’t be easy guarding this Prince, Theodoric never made it easy. He looked to Kaehlyssa, he might had to leave her soon so she could get on with what she had to do today. He knew his guard wouldn’t stop looking for him till he had found him or someone else had “They’re still looking for me” he chuckled “You’d think I was crown Prince”
