Name: Tahryn Brightsmith
Age: 23
Position: Rebel Leader/ Blacksmith
Group: Astalderea
Physical Description: Tahryn is tall, and slender. She has strong arms and legs. Her skin is a pale tan, her hair a slightly wavy dark brown. Often worn up for work and practise, it falls around her face unevenly and in gentle wisps. Her eyes are a deep blue, and her face is very expressive, her angry looks can send you shrinking back in fear, her scared look will raise panic deep inside.

The other part of Tahryn was a courtier, being who her father was, she was often invited to attend balls and fancy feasts. So Tahryn can pull off the tomboy fighter look, and the elegant lady look, and though she'll never admit it, she loves the elegance of being a lady.

Personality: Passionate, fiery, stubborn, protective, fairly intelligent, though not the most, she can be elegant and polite, or she can be sharp tongued and dangerous. She has a burning anger towards those who do wrong by her upbringing, for example, murderers, rapists, usurpers.
She has the selfless protective quality some older sisters have when it comes to friends and family.
Strengths: Sword fighting, and leadership, and disguising herself (acting).
Weaknesses: Impulsive thinking often lands her in more trouble than she'd like to admit, her sister, and any other 'innocent'.
Likes: Swords, music, planning, thinking of the future once they've returned the kingdom to the rightful rulers, long walks in nature (before it was destroyed), thunderstorms and rain, horseback riding.
Dislikes: The Darkness soldiers, the Dark Lord, the fact her friends are under attack, the fact they are hiding, or the fact they must repair weaponary for the Darkness side, being wrong, or helpless, or cornered, doing nothing, seeing people suffer when they don't deserve it.

History: Tahryn's father was a blacksmith, the blacksmith actually, to the King's royal guards. His swords were renowned for their great craftsmanship, quality and beauty.
Her mother was a beautiful understanding woman, they loved each other to no end, however, at the birth of her twin daughters, she passed away.
The twins were raised by a wet nurse until they were about three years old, then the nurse moved on to another family and the girls started to grow up with their father as their family and their main influence on life.
He was a moral man, this was a time before great battles were fought, a time before lives were lost by his blades. He raised his daughters to be blacksmiths, to be ladies, and to know how to protect themselves. As favour, he had some friends in the guard teach them archery, and sword fighting, so they were both skilled in fighting.
Tahryn exceeded expectations when it came to swordplay and often dueled with Theodoric and Hunter, and half of the time she would win.

As she entered her late teens, she had a group of friends, mostly males, she practised with them, most of them knights and guards, she walked the lands with them and she worked hard when her father asked and needed her too. Together, her sister and her father were a great team of weapon and Armour suppliers.
When the Dark Lord's men came to the town they heard rumour of the beautiful craftsmanship that the girls' father had the skill of and came to order new weapons upon the dozen for their army.
He refused and tried to send them away, they started fighting and voices were raised. Tahryn came in from the back of the shop and Taliyah came into the workroom too, the soldiers grabbed the girls as quick as anything and started to threaten them with the weapons.
Taken by surprise, at first Tahryn didn't know what was going on. She can remember yelling and trying to hit the man that was holding her, and she can remember seeing her father fall.
The next thing she knew, she and ehr sister were the objects of the soldier's concentration. Terrifying ideas were being spread across the room, the blacksmith was no good to them anymore, bleeding his life onto the floor, they thought they should take what weapons were made, have their fun with the girls and go.
Tahryn was sure she could handle anything they could dish out, she was sure at some stage they'd mess up and she'd have access to one of the weapons lying around to fight back, but before her patience had worn out, Taliyah cried out that they would make and fix the weapons and armour.
The men stopped and let them go. They told them they'd not hurt them anymore, on the condition they did as they're father would have. Their father was trying to tell them not to give in, but one of the soldiers kicked him and he silenced.
Taliyah signed them over, not literally of course, and the soldiers left.
The girls' did all they could for their father, but nothing they could do could save him.
Tahryn couldn't stand the fate they'd agreed to, for a little while she fumed at Taliyah, but they were so close, it didn't last long.
Tahryn heard what was happening to their friends, and decided she had a new purpose in life.

So started the Astalderea rebellion. Exclusive and secret to those who seek weapons from the Brightsmiths' to fight the Dark Lord and his men.

Weapon: A one off sword made for her by her father before he was killed. It's thin and slender at the tip, a lot like a Rapier, but it tapers like a normal sword and a bodice dagger/pair of scissors.
When she gets ready for battle she puts a chemical on her sword, and lights it.
She also has a bow and a quiver of arrows in a weapons store under the blacksmiths.
