The soldier would have left things as he had been about to leave them, but the woman had to question his Lord's motives for the take over. He stood straight and glared at her behind her bow and arrow. He could not easily avoid her speed and aim, he had seen that mistake too often.
"You will regret your words you said today." He said in a dark voice, all his mannerisms had disappeared, and his true dark side was truly beginning to show.

She met his gaze with great intensity burning in the deep depths of her violet eyes. She wasn't going to let this pathetic man scare her. She quirked an eyebrow up at him. "My mouth may get me in trouble, but I'll never regret what I say, Sir, because what I say is true." She said harshly watching him.
"You are saddly mistaken if you think your Dark Lord is such a wonderful person. Him and one of his assassins are the reason for my parents' deaths." She snapped harshly. She wasn't going to say she was scared when she had heard his deep dark voice, but she wasn't going to admit it either. She wanted to provoke him just to give her a reason to shoot at him. She would love nothing more than to watch him die a long agonizing death by her arrows.

The soldier stared at her and shook his head. "Only traitors, conspirators and those who speak against the Lord are killed by our lord. You're parents must have been one of those, and therefore they deserved to die."
He had a cruel glint in his eyes and a twisted smirk crossed his face. He was sure the words would push her buttons, he could tell she was trying to press his, but he was no fool, he liked his unholy body and was determined to keep it that way. He hoped to irritate her enough for her to walk away, after all, she was supposed to be the better of the two, the more noble of teams according to her words.

Her eyes suddenly had a burning red hot look to them as she gave him a death glare. She wasn't going to shoot him unless he tried something, but it was quite tempting to just let the arrow fly right to his heart. "So tempting." She thought as she watched him.
"Your assassin was following me. He killed my mother, who was smart enough to keep her mouth shut when matters of the Dark Lord came along, to get to me. My father was killed just because he was one of King Richard's soldiers. Now tell me why my parents deserved to die." She snapped at him quite angrily. It was a wonder it didn't come out as a growl. "I could care less what you and the rest of the Dark Lord's army think, but you all are wrong. What you and the Dark Lordd are doing is wrong." She said in a gentler tone, but the fire that burned in her violet eyes was still there.

The soldier smirked as she told him her story. It was much like many people who opposed the dark lord.
"Your father was one of Richards men, that was enough to kill him, he would have opposed our great lord." He now emphasised the words great lord just to irritate her. "Your mother obviously was keeping information about you that the great lord wanted. Therefore she was withholding valuble material." He felt proud of himself for justifying the deaths of her parents on the murderer's behalf.
"As for wrong and right, what does it matter? The world doesn't function on what is wrong or right, otherwise, your parents might still be alive. The world only functions on fear and power. Fear and power are why we are still standing here talking." The man pointed out.

She felt infuriated by his commment. What gives anyone the right to kill just for reasons such as that. "What right does that give your great lordto kill them when they were innocent people?" She snapped quite angrily. The empahsis on 'great lord' was more sarcastic than anything else. She wanted to let the arrow that her hand held steady as she pointed it at him go, but she wasn't going to unless he tried to attack her.
"Your wrong. The world may function with fear, but power in the wrong hands always loses." She said calmly and coolly watching him for any movements. "And why is that? Because your too afraid to turn your back on a 'silly girl and her bow and arrow' as some men have said when they thought I wasn't listening." She remarked hoping to push some buttons. She wanted a reason to let the arrow in her control fly right to his heart, at least if he had one.
