Maggi smiled and looked from Bastian to the crystal ball in his hand. She kept her hand over the ball and chanted softly.
Moment later the smoke turned a poisonous green, and then she pulled her hand from the glass and the smoke vanished.

"This ball will help you to know how to act." She said quietly. It was small, not as fragile as one would think, Maggi had known better than to make something delicate for his mission.

"You must go now. They lay waiting for you in the Neamh Falls." She said looking at Bastian seriously.

Bastian watched as his Lady chanted something and the ball changed colour. He wasn't alarmed but looked up her as she took her hand away. Her powers amazed him. He nodded when she told him the ball would help him and with that he slipped it into a pocket near his sword.

He looked back to her as she said that he had to go now. He bowed deeply "As you wish" he said in his serious tone. His eyes flashed with mischief as he stood back up and headed for the door, he's movements smooth.

Maggi nodded and watched as Bastian turned and headed outside. she knew he would be useful to her for a little while, she wsn't sure how long it would take the princess and her friend to figure him out, but she was sure they would just send him away, she doubted that the princess would have the guts to hurt someone, especially one who was so charming to look at.

All she had to worry about, was the strength of their magical control over him wearing off or becoming weak enough to break.
